"A person has not only perceptions but a will to perceive, not only a capacity to observe the world but a capacity to alter his or her observation of it--which, in the end, is the capacity to alter the world, itself. Those people who recognize that imagination is reality's master, we call 'sages,' and those who act upon it, we call 'artists.' Or 'lunatics.'"

There and back again
Finals are done, bags are packed and I've had a lovely Christmas with the family back in colorful Colorado. There is much to blog about from the class trip to Dublin (oh the fun of wandering the streets after a night at the pub!) to the mad rush to finish the two final papers for classes (shush, don't tell the prof's they were completed 30 minutes before the deadline and turned in on the first draft). There are pictures to be uploaded, videos to be made into movies and good times to be retold. But for now, I'm in my favorite airport - DIA (Denver International) and enjoying playing on my fancy new Toshiba laptop. (How's that for product placement?) The only thing missing is a gingerbread latte from Starbucks, but I'm afraid I'm all starbucksed out - never thought I'd say that! So instead I will soak up the last clear blue skies I'll see for a while and wait for my plane to board to bring me back to the emerald isle of rolling green hills and rain.

I envy your new laptop :)
You're not the only one. ;)
Remember back in the day when you used to write on here?
